Here in The Ones, we love a drill song about friendship. That’s the heart of Zeffy Lee’s On the Radar freestyle, where the loudmouthed Brooklynite carves out space to show love to her girls and bros, including one particular namecheck that I find very sweet: “Shoutout Ja’niyah/She just got her crib, she be on her shit and she be doing the most.” The combination of the triumphant beat with Zeffy’s spirited words of motivation (and occasional screams) could make just about anyone get up off their ass and clock in.
