The lineup for the 2024 edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is here, and that includes headliners Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat. See the lineup poster below.
Lana Del Rey made her Coachella debut in 2014. A few years later, in 2017, she watched Father John Misty perform at the Indio festival, an experience that led to her Lust for Life song “Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind.” Del Rey went on a short tour last year in support of Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, and she followed the trek, which concluded in Charleston, West Virginia, with a new cover of John Denver’s classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”
Tyler, the Creator, a Southern California native, has popped up often at Coachella since he and Odd Future made their debut in 2011. He’s performed at the festival in 2015 and 2018, and made guest appearances during sets from Earl Sweatshirt (in 2013) Schoolboy Q (in 2017), and Kali Uchis (in 2018 and 2023). He also had some fun with A$AP Rocky at Coachella in 2016. Last year, Tyler shared Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale, an expanded edition of his landmark 2021 album, Call Me If You Get Lost.
After performing with Rico Nasty at Coachella in 2019, Doja Cat made her official festival debut in 2022. During that set, she debuted her Elvis song “Vegas.” Last month, the musician wrapped her tour in support of her new album, Scarlet. She is going to be the first female rapper to headline Coachella.
The first weekend of the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was headlined by Bad Bunny, Blackpink, and Frank Ocean. The latter performer did not return for the second weekend, and Blink-182 and the trifecta of Four Tet, Skrillex, and Fred Again.. filled in with headlining performances.
