Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy has a new book out later this year, titled World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music. Tweedy uses the project to explore 50 songs (including some of his own) that have had a significant impact on his personal and creative development. It’s out November 7 via Dutton.
World Within a Song is the third monograph from the Wilco bandleader, following his 2018 memoir Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back) and 2020’s How to Write One Song. The announcement arrives just a few days after Tweedy earned a Best Historical Album Grammy for the 20th anniversary reissue of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. The band has several tour dates in North America—plus a short stint in Iceland—scheduled for later this year in support of the 2022 album Cruel Country.
