The 2024 Grammy Award nominations were announced today, and Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, SZA, and Taylor Swift are all up for Song of the Year. Olivia Rodrigo, Lana Del Rey, Jon Batiste, and Miley Cyrus round out the field this year. Check out a full list of nominations below.
Eilish is nominated for her Barbie the Album song “What Was I Made For?” The track is up for Best Pop Solo Performance, too. Lipa is also nominated for a song from the Barbie soundtrack, “Dance the Night.” Swift, who was also nominated in the category last year, is up for the Midnights track “Anti-Hero.”
SZA is nominated in the category for the first time for her SOS song “Kill Bill.” Rodrigo is up for Guts’ “Vampire,” and Del Rey looks to earn her first Grammy for “A&W.” Batiste and Cyrus are up for their songs “Butterfly” and “Flowers,” respectively.
SZA has a total of nine nods, making her the most nominated artist this year. She’s up for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best R&B Song, and more.
Rodrigo, Swift, Cyrus, and Batiste each have six nominations this year, and will all compete for Record of the Year and Album of the year.
With five nominations, Lana Del Rey will compete for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album for Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, while “A&W” received another nod for Best Alternative Music Performance. Her Jon Batiste duet, “Candy Necklace,” meanwhile, is a contender for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
