Porno for Pyros have lived up to their promise and released their first new song in 26 years. The original lineup of Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano, and Martyn LeNoble have shared “Agua.” Give it a listen below.

For “Agua,” Porno for Pyros are joining with the Surfrider Foundation to advocate for protecting the oceans and the coasts. “The people who live here on the West Coast have a beautiful love and passion for the Pacific Ocean,” Farrell said. “The ocean doesn’t look right, doesn’t feel right, doesn’t surf right. You go and swim in it, and you get the creeps. The sunsets are different. We are really, really screwing it up. We have to do something about it. I wanted to bring attention to it through the best megaphone that I know, which is music.”

Porno for Pyros just announced the rescheduled dates of their 2024 tour, which they have now dubbed their “farewell tour.” The new song is inspired by dolphin encounters that Porno for Pyros members had while surfing in the 1990s. “Getting together with these guys has been some of the most fun, the happiest times in my life,” Farrell recently said in a statement.
