Playboi Carti is back already with another new song, “EvilJ0rdan.” It comes with a music video in which he drinks out of a Hello Kitty mug, raps in a kitchen, and styles his durag in different formations, including bunny ears. At one point, Carti inexplicably holds up a sealed vinyl copy of Mr. Bungle’s The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo. Watch it over on Opium’s Instagram page.

“EvilJ0rdan” is the latest in a string of new music from the rapper, following his Travis Scott–featuring “Backr00ms.” Carti also dropped the songs “2024,” “Different Day,” and “H00dByAir,” and appeared on the Idol single “Popular” with the Weeknd and Madonna earlier in 2023. He still hasn’t announced a new album just yet, but, if it arrives this year, that means it will be his first full-length LP in nearly four years, following 2020’s Whole Lotta Red.

In February, Carti was arrested for allegedly assaulting and choking his pregnant girlfriend. He’s rumored to appear on the new Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign new album, Vultures, which has experienced multiple release delays despite being premiered at listening parties.
