Mannequin Pussy have announced a new album, I Got Heaven. The Philadelphia band’s fourth LP arrives on March 1 via Epitaph. The group has also shared the new song “I Don’t Know You” and a music video directed by Mason Mercer and Anthony Miralles that picks up where the visual for the title track left off. Check it out below.
I Got Heaven was produced by John Congleton and spans 10 tracks in total. Of the new single, the band’s singer and guitarist, Marisa Dabice, said in a statement: “This is simply a song about having a crush. About the excitement and playful fantasy that can come from meeting someone unexpectedly at a festival, or on the street, or in line at the grocery store. You don’t know when you’ll see them again but the rush of their possibility lingers, making you yearn to know more about them.”
After releasing Patience, their third studio album, in 2019, Mannequin Pussy dropped 2021’s Perfect EP, watched Angourie Rice played their own songs on HBO’s Mare of Easttown, and then started their own record label, Romantic Records (named after their sophomore full-length, Romantic).
